1/biomaterial tent

HULS (Human Life System) is a speculative biomaterial tent system inspired by my terrapin’s basking behaviour and her natural scutes she sheds. Designed for the homeless, the tent uses organic, materials to create a cooling shelter that restores safety and dignity. This project merges futuristic material innovation with human‑centric impact, positioning HULS as a visionary yet socially grounded system that reimagines how design can support the less privileged.

All tent materials & appearance itself are AI generated.

2/biomaterial framework

A distilled sequence showing how the HULS tent emerges from its core elements — the skeletal ribs, the organic materials that inform its texture, and the final assembled form. Together, they reveal the system’s material logic and spatial intention.

3/installation layout

A set of documentation about the biological origins of the HULS system — from naturally shed scutes to early mesh prototypes. Each sample captures a different aspect of the tent’s material form, showing how organic shedding, texture, and structural behaviour inform the final shelter’s cooling and protective qualities.

Materials used: Materials used: a shed scute fragment, acrylic frame, fine mesh laundry bag, white velcro strips, and a transparent display box.

LASALLE x SAMSUNG Internship

This school internship was part of a 10‑week collaboration with Samsung Singapore and Middle Child Bar Singapore, under the heartful guidance from Tobyato. My segment features blue cats and a Samsung‑blue palette, with building motifs drawn from Samsung’s visual icons.
